Sensors for agriculture

Challenges in agriculture
It's not just about the pure fill level or flow rate - it's about operational readiness. The question is: Is the machine running when it needs to run? Many sensors from the catalog only meet these requirements to a limited extent. They are too large, too sensitive or simply unsuitable for the installation position in the tractor, in the dosing system or in the tank module.
What's more, every application is a little different. And this is precisely where the risk lies - because standard solutions rarely work without adaptation.
Our solution for sensor technology in agriculture
We don't think in terms of the product, but in terms of the application: What does the installation situation look like? Which medium is to be detected? Which switching threshold is decisive? Whether float switch, suction lance or flow sensor - we deliver a functioning solution. Directly from the developer. Directly from our own production.

Advantages of our sensor technology for agriculture
Direct integration
Adaptable to your geometry
Media resistance
Insensitive to dirt, dust and vibration
No external power supply required
Fast availability

Project examples from agricultural engineering
Suction lances for pesticide canisters: Dual function: Media removal plus level monitoring - with integrated non-return valve and ventilation.
Flow sensors for irrigation systems: Magnetic switching technology from 0.1 l/min - also works with air bubbles and without a power supply. Position sensors in harvesting machines: Contactless detection of flaps, covers or sliders - switches even in the presence of dirt and moisture.

FAQ - Sensor technology in agricultural engineering
Which materials are suitable for aggressive media such as liquid manure or pesticides?
We use media-resistant plastics such as PVDF, PE or PA, depending on the concentration and medium. We also supply stainless steel variants for higher temperatures or chemical loads.
How small can the installation space for the sensor be?
Many of our sensors are miniaturized or can be flexibly adapted. Especially in mobile devices or narrow containers, we develop variants that fit with millimeter precision.
Can I measure the flow rate and fill level with one sensor?
Not in one component, but we combine functions in one assembly - e.g. in suction lances with integrated level monitoring. This saves space and components.
Is retrofitting to existing agricultural machinery possible?
Yes, our sensors can be mechanically and electrically integrated into many existing systems - with threads, flanges or direct mounting. We can advise you on the optimum design.
How are the sensors connected electrically?
We supply with an open cable, pre-assembled plug or special connections as required - compatible with your control or bus system.
How does the project start?
It's simple: you tell us the medium, installation type and desired function. We check the feasibility, supply drawings or samples and support you right through to series release - directly, quickly and technically.
