Frequently asked questions about sensor technology in hygiene technology
Which sensor materials are suitable for disinfectants?
For hydrogen peroxide, chlorine, ethanol or aldehydes, we use chemical-resistant plastics such as PVDF, PTFE or special polyolefins. Stainless steel variants are also possible for oxidizing media - always depending on the concentration and temperature.
Are your sensors suitable for CIP and SIP processes?
Yes, we can supply high-temperature and media-resistant versions if required. Our components can be integrated into existing cleaning cycles - without manual disassembly or additional seals.
Can sensors be used in small installation spaces?
We develop compact geometries that work in tight device structures - for example in built-in filters, cartridges or miniature containers. This also includes special plug or connection solutions.
How safe are your sensors against outgassing or vapor?
Encapsulated sensor designs, welded plastic housings or pressure-resistant stainless steel versions prevent the ingress of steam, gases or moisture. This ensures that the function remains stable in the long term - even under high cyclical loads.
Are there hygienic plug connections for your sensors?
Yes, on request we can supply pre-assembled cables with smooth, easy-to-clean connectors. Alternatively, we offer integrated cable outlets with a welded transition - suitable for smooth device surfaces.
How does a project with you work?
You tell us about your installation situation, the medium and the desired function - we develop a suitable concept, supply CAD data, an offer and, if required, a sample. After approval, production begins - entirely in-house.
